There are all sorts of ways you can help raise funds. From taking on a sponsored walk or big bike ride to hosting a community event like a bring and buy sale.

£10 will help: fund a local child to attend a creative learning workshop to improve their knowledge, skills and confidence in nature and receive a healthy campfire meal.
£25 will help: fund tailored energy advice for vulnerable people living in cold homes and provide Winter Warmer resource packs.
£50 will help: us provide a cycling tuition programme, making transport safer and more accessible for everyone on the roads.

Fundraise your way, make an open donation or choose to raise money for one of our specific projects.
- Creative Learns and Outdoor Education for Children – Improving access to outdoor education opportunities for children. Helping us provide access to outdoor learning and play opportunities will encourage the next generation of children to appreciate and care for nature and our planet.
- Route finding, Maps, Guided Walks, Cycle Tuition and Led Rides – Giving Birmingham the tools to travel in a healthier, greener way. Inclusive of abilities and starting points help give people the confidence to leave their cars at home and enable people to have fun exploring Birmingham by walking, wheeling, cycling and public transport.
- Energy – We want to ensure that fuel poverty in Birmingham is reduced. Social inequalities and vulnerability mean some residents are living in cold, damp homes with rising energy bills. With your support we will give people the knowledge and tools to reduce their bills, live more comfortably, and sustainably.
- Building Greener Communities Project – Donations from people like you provide communities with the tools and support to become more resilient against future financial and environmental challenges, learn new skills, and improve quality of life for the residents.

I donated to ecobirmingham to support them in their work of bringing the community and environment together. Their various projects look at ways to tackle the challenges of being more environmentally conscious through enjoyable activities and education.
Other ways to support
Donating with Payroll Giving or Pennies from Heaven are simple and easy ways to give to ecobirmingham in a tax effective way directly through your salary. Speak to your employer for more information.
